When SDBH was established in September 2012, we began as a small business with only five people and a single focus on blood glucose monitoring. From that modest start, our determination has guided us to build a stronger, larger, and more diverse organization. Today, with more than 1000 colleagues across India, we have become a trusted healthcare brand with a presence that extends beyond India’s borders.

The past decade has been a journey of preparation, transformation, and growth. Our early years were dedicated to building resilience, strengthening infrastructure, and ensuring that our foundation was strong enough to sustain future opportunities. By 2024, these efforts began to bear fruit as we crossed USD 600 million in sales, expanded our portfolio beyond glucose monitoring, and laid down the framework for innovation-driven growth.

The years that followed marked key turning points. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, we introduced the COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test and FIA Test, which became one of the most trusted tools for healthcare workers because of its accuracy and reliability. In 2021, we expanded our offerings in glucose care with the Standard Mentor BGMS, while in 2024, we entered the molecular diagnostics segment with Molecular M10, further strengthening our vision of precision healthcare. Each of these moments was not just about launching a product, but about responding to the evolving needs of healthcare and society.

Today, as we look to the future, our direction is clear. We are expanding into new verticals with gold-standard technologies: HbA1c testing with HPLC, Immunoassays with CLIA, Advanced Haematology, Continuous Glucose Monitoring Systems (CGMS), Blood Gas Analyzers, Hb meters, and Even Veterinary Diagnostics. we are also incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into medical diagnostics. These are not just new markets for us—they represent our commitment to fill critical gaps, support healthcare professionals, and ensure patient safety with globally benchmarked solutions.

Equally important has been our shift from being import-dependent to becoming a self-reliant manufacturer in India. With our world-class facility in (factory) Manesar, we now not only meet domestic requirements but also export to global markets, proudly contributing to the vision of “Make in India”. This evolution reflects the strength of our teams and the trust our partners and customers have placed in us.
